Genuine R.S.A. was founded in 2023 by a group of proud South Africans with a shared passion for our country’s diverse cities and towns. We wanted to create something that celebrates the unique character of places across South Africa, from the bustling metropolis of Johannesburg to the coastal charm of Durban, and from the historic streets of Cape Town to the jacaranda-lined avenues of Pretoria.
Our founder, born and raised in a small town outside of Johannesburg, moved abroad and found herself longing for connections to home. She realized that many South Africans, whether living locally or abroad, share this deep connection to their hometowns. The idea for Genuine R.S.A. was born from this sentiment: creating wearable mementos that celebrate the places that shaped us.

Our t-shirts are made from 100% cotton, pre-shrunk to ensure the perfect fit wash after wash. We work with ethical manufacturers who share our values of fair labor practices and environmental responsibility.
